PORT ST. LUCIE — Sometimes it’s not the message as much as the delivery.
Manager Mickey Callaway went for both Monday in his second address to open a Mets spring training, but the weight of his voice in the clubhouse might have left the greatest impression.
“Mickey was a little more forceful [than last year],” Todd Frazier said. “You could hear it in his voice. He was a little more energy. It’s Year 2; we put things in the past, and now it’s time to move forward.
