Michael Conforto reveals playoff advice he received from veterans

The postseason: It’s what every baseball player strives to achieve. Getting there is great, staying around even better. Figure there aren’t too many Yankees feeling all happy and peppy after Tuesday’s wild-card appearance.

But as desirable as playoff games are, as maddeningly intense as they are waged, they still represent what players have done since they first picked up a bat, ball and glove. That’s one message Mets rookie Michael Conforto has heard from the veterans, especially Michael Cuddyer, who recalled his first postseason.
