Following the news that yesterday’s and tonight’s games have been postponed after the Mets had two positive COVID-19 cases within the organization, the entire weekend series against the Yankees has now officially been postponed.
A little over an hour before the Mets were set to play the Marlins in Miami last night, news broke that there were two positive coronavirus cases on the Mets. We have since learned that one was a position player and one a coach. The two individuals who contracted the virus remained in Miami, along with some other members of the organization in an effort to conduct more thorough contact tracing.
