Mets Video Diary: Finding Middle Ground

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I could watch Michael Conforto hit all day. He has a classic, consistent, smooth, left-handed swing.

Interesting, though, is that today in batting practice he was using a more pronounced, Robin Ventura, Charlie Lau-style, one-handed swing...

Last season, he only did this on occasion. For the most part, he had a more compact, two-handed pounce, like Carlos Beltran and Gregg Jeffries.

In either case, I'm really excited to see what he can do this season. In fact, I don't believe he'll be relegated to hitting just right-handed pitching.
