The New York Mets aren’t likely to acquire an outfielder in advance of the trade deadline, according to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York.

New York's outfield has collectively batted .236/.297/.369 this season, though those numbers have been largely inflated by Curtis Granderson‘s very solid .243/.340/.417 batting line.
