A sleeper prospect who can make an impact for the 2021 New York Mets is Thomas Szapucki.

Since 2019, the New York Mets have seen multiple rookies make an instant impact in the majors. As all of baseball knows, first baseman Pete Alonso made that day one impact, earning an All-Star bid on his way to leading the league in home runs and winning NL rookie of the year.
