Mets silenced again in second straight 1-0 loss to Nationals

NATIONALS 1, METS 0

The drought continues.

The Mets were shutout for the second straight game as the Nationals beat them 1-0 at Citi Field Sunday.

The Mets (16-10) have now lost seven of their last 10 games and their last three series. The Nationals (12-14) have now won four of seven games against the Mets this season.

The Mets had scored six runs in the three previous games of this series and that included four runs in Friday night's win. In fact, the Mets have not scored a run since Daniel Murphy's three-run double in that game.
