Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon is dealing with a tendon injury in his right foot, manager Terry Collins said Tuesday.
Collins noted that Colon suffered the injury while running the bases recently, but said he didn’t think Colon would have to miss his final start of the regular season because of it.
Meanwhile, Colon told the New York Post that he’s “fine.”
During his start on Monday, when he allowed seven runs on eight hits while striking out none in 2.1 innings, Colon was briefly visited by Collins and trainer Ray Ramirez. He quickly shooed them away.
