The Mets have promoted outfield prospect Michael Conforto to Double-A Binghamton.
Conforto, 22, was hitting .283/.350/.462 with seven home runs and 28 RBI in 206 plate appearances (46 games) this season for High-A St. Lucie.
In his professional debut last season, Conforto hit .331/.403/.448 for Low-A Brooklyn in the short season New York Penn League before a brief stint with Low-A Savannah.
There was some discussion during spring training in March that Conforto could start 2015 with Savannah, but the Mets jumped him over that league and placed him with High-A St.
