Mets Player Performance Meter: Position players, May 5-11

The Mets took two out of three from the Diamondbacks in Arizona this week before returning home to Citi Field and winning two out of three games over the weekend against a very good Cubs team. Despite Pete Alonso getting his first bad grade all season, the offense had a good week as a unit, putting up a 143 wRC+, which is the second-best mark in baseball over this weeklong span. Though the Mets’ hitting with runners in scoring position has left something to be desired lately, they have made up for it with the long ball.
