Chris Sale went to the Red Sox for mega prospect Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech, and other prospects. Mets fans breathed a sigh of relief because the Nationals were in on Sale. The Nats did however land Adam Eaton for Lucas Giolito and others in the end.
The White Sox are beginning what looks like a well thought out re-building process now. The Mets need to cash in on this. While their best players are now off the board, the White Sox boast others that could easily help the Mets.
