Mets Morning News: Sound the trumpets

In a good bounce back performance, David Peterson shut the Phillies down in his second start of the year. He allowed only one run and looked much improved from his subpar first start of the year. The Mets got to old friend Zack Wheeler in the first to give them the early lead, and then James McCann but the game away late with a two-run home run against the bullpen. The Mets now go for the sweep with Jacob deGrom on the mound, weather permitting of course.
