Mets Morning News: Four (five?) in a row

It was rough sailing, but thanks to key plays from Francisco Lindor and clutch outings from Trevor May and Edwin Díaz, the Mets completed their sweep of the Marlins by winning 4-3 last night in Queens.

Miguel Rojas and Jonathan Villar both hit home runs on the first pitch each of their teams saw, and according to the Elias Sports Bureau that is the first time that phenomenon has happened since at least 1985, the first year of reliable pitch-by-pitch data.

This was officially the Mets' fourth win in a row despite winning their last five games because of the quirks of finishing suspended games from April.
