The Mets spent their first day of August getting smacked around by a guy named Max Schrock and ending up on the wrong end of a 7-1 contest to the Reds. So, you know, fun stuff!
You all remember Kumar Rocker, right? The elite pitching talent with a massive billboard in Times Square who managed to miraculously fall into the Mets’ lap at the 10th pick of the draft? Yeah, well they didn’t sign him because he maybe potentially may get hurt eventually.
