The Mets fell to the Braves on Tuesday night as the Mets bullpen once again struggled. Noah Syndergaard pitched six scoreless innings before the bullpen gave up seven runs in the remaining three innings of the game. Michael Conforto, Jay Bruce, and Tomas Nido all had RBI’s for the Mets at the plate.
David Wright was activated off of the 60 day DL on Tuesday afternoon. Deadspin writes that the Mets are ruining Wright’s farewell while Newsday pays tribute to Wright’s illustrious career.
