New York Mets left fielder Brandon Nimmo homered to right, singled to left, doubled to deep right and tripled to deep right in four consecutive at-bats.
It wasn't quite a cycle, though. The hits came against two different teams, in two different cities, on two different nights. A bi-cycle?
The homer was a 410-foot shot off Marlins starter Dan Straily in the fifth inning at Citi Field Wednesday night. The single came three innings later, off a 95 mph fastball from Marlins reliever Adam Conley in the eighth inning of the Mets' 2-1 loss to the Marlins.
