Mets INF Wilmer Flores went 1-for-3 with a double in a rehab game with Single-A St. Lucie on Tuesday night.
It was the first rehab game for Flores, who has been on the disabled list since May 28 with back soreness.
Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reported that the plan is for Flores to rejoin the Mets at some point during their 10-game road trip.
"I feel good now," Flores told NorthJersey.com's Matt Ehalt. "You get discomfort like this all the time. I thought that's what it was. I tried to play through it with treatment.
