Mets get swept again, have lost six games in a row

The Mets should probably consider forfeiting the remainder of their games in Atlanta. For the third time in as many nights, the team lost to the Braves, and they extended their losing streak to six games in the process. The final score was 7-1 in Atlanta’s favor.

Clay Holmes threw 104 pitches and lasted just four-and-two-thirds innings. He somehow managed to give up just three runs despite issuing six walks and giving up four hits. Huascar Brazobán, who has done some great work out of the Mets’ bullpen early this season, issued three walks of his own, gave up two hits, and allowed four runs to score while recording only two outs.
