Mets eager to help in aftermath of Hurricane Harvey

The Mets plan to use Friday's off-day in Houston to help with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, according to multiple reports.

"Pretty much everyone I talked to was like, 'Yeah, I want to do something,'" Mets LHP Jerry Blevins said, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. "We've got a good group of guys here that want to help out some fellow Americans in need."

The Mets and Astros will play a doublehader Saturday in Houston and their regularly scheduled game on Sunday in the first games the Astros will play in Houston since the hurricane.
