The Mets mustered three hits en route to their fifth consecutive loss, 2-1, to the Orioles on Tuesday night at Citi Field.
Things you should know about tonight's game...
1) The Mets' offense managed a run on two hits and a walk in six innings against Orioles starter Alex Cobb, who entered the game with a 6.80 ERA and 1.81 WHIP in nine starts. The right-hander did not allow a hit until Jay Bruce and Kevin Plawecki singled and doubled, respectively, leading off the fifth.
2) Bruce singled twice and Jose Bautista plated New York's only run with a pinch-hit sacrifice fly in the fifth.
