The Syracuse Mets fell behind early in Tuesday evening’s game against the Durham Bulls, when Ervin Santana allowed an RBI single to Durham’s Nate Lowe in the bottom of the first. Durham extended their lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the second against Santana, and extended their lead to 5-0 in the bottom of the fourth. The Syracuse offense was unable to get much of anything going on Tuesday, scattering just five hits in the game, and leaving 10 runners on base.
