SYRACUSE 6, ROCHESTER 3 (BOX)
Syracuse scored early and often, with Drew Jackson starting things off on the right foot by leading off the game with a homer on the very first pitch of the game. The Red Wings tied things up early and even took the lead at one point, but Jerad Eickhoff settled down after giving up runs in the first and second and ended up giving Syracuse a quality start while the bats did their thing.
