Syracuse managed only five hits, but some excellent relief pitching and a steal of home pushed them to a win over the Iron Pigs. Arismendy Alcantara scored the first run of the game in the top of the first, dashing home on a walk to Rene Rivera for a steal of home. Drew Gagnon gave that run back during his 5.2 inning start, but Daniel Zamora, Matt Blackham, and Tyler Bashlor combined for 3.1 perfect innings of relief.
