Corey Oswalt dominated in a shutout victory over Lehigh Valley. The right hander tossed seven shutout innings, allowing only four hits, and he got the win thanks to Rene Rivera’s fourth inning homer - the only run scored in the game. Stephen Nogosek got the save with two scoreless innings, while recent podcast topic Dilson Herrera went 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts.
This was an ugly one all around, as the Rumble Ponies got shellacked by Bowie. David Peterson got through the first two innings but fell apart in the third, giving up seven runs on six hits and a walk, and he failed to escape the inning.
