In their first game of the day, Binghamton’s late rally came up just short in a 6-5 loss. Harol Gonzalez pitched poorly, allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks over six innings. Joe Zanghi kept Hartford off the board in the top of the seventh, giving Binghamton one lost chance down five. The Rumble Ponies exploded with a three-run double from Joey Terdoslavich cutting the deficit to run and putting the tying run in scoring position.
