SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 6, SYRACUSE 3 (BOX)

The Syracuse Mets fell behind in the bottom of the first inning of Tueday evening’s game against the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, when Thairo Estrada stole home on a double steal play. Syracuse evened the scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Travis Taijeron in the top of the fourth, but Scranton scored two in the bottom half of the inning off of Paul Sewald. Syracuse rallied late, scoring a run in the top of the seventh on a double play ball off the bat of Colton Plaia with the bases loaded, and in the eighth on an RBI single from Taijeron.
