SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 5, SYRACUSE 4 (BOX)

Syracuse lost in heart-breaking fashion, rallying back late before ultimately losing in walkoff fashion to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders. Chris Mazza got the start and was solid for the first five innings, allowing only one run. A home run from Braxton Lee and an RBI single from Luis Guillorme built a 3-1 lead, but it all came apart for Mazza in the sixth. He faced five batters and recorded only one out, surrendering three runs in the process and putting the Mets in a 4-3 hole.
