It was a high scoring affair, but Syracuse ended up on top, putting them back over .500. Luis Guillorme and Braxton Lee did the most damage, driving in three runs apiece. Brooks Pounders and Jacob Rhame did their best to give Toledo the lead, giving up a combined three runs in the eighth and ninth, but Rhame held on to close the book on the ballgame and notch his second save with Syracuse.
