Peter Alonso did not go HAM, but the 51s got the win nonetheless. After matching former Met prospect Matt Koch zero for zero early on, Drew Gagnon gave up three runs in the fourth, giving Reno the lead. Koch, who had more or less been on cruise control, hit a speed bump in the seventh, allowing a two-run homer to Christian Colon. Joey Krehbiel finished out the inning, but the 51s faced a tough task ahead of them in the eighth and ninth. In the eighth, they faced a rehabbing Randall Delgado.
