Syracuse rode a big third inning to a 9-5 win over the Scranton Railriders. Both teams scored a run in the first, and Scranton started the fireworks in the third with four runs in the top half off of starter Zach Lee. The Mets responded immediately, with a bases loaded double from Travis Taijeron, a two-RBI single from Luis Guillorme, and another single from David Thompson generating five runs and giving Syracuse the lead.
