Jordan Yamamoto got the start for Syracuse in Friday evening’s game, and pitched generally pretty well despite not getting very deep into the game. Yamamoto allowed one run, on a solo homer to Worchester’s Marcus Wilson in the bottom of the second, in 4.1 innings of work, with eight strikeouts and three walks. Syracuse trailed 1-0 until the top of the seventh, when Quinn Brodey homered to tie the game.
