Mets Daily Prospect Report, 5/10/19: A night filled with nail biters

*All results from games played on May 9, 2019

The Mets offense exploded after trailing 2-1 into the seventh inning. Danny Espinosa tied the game with a ground out, and Rajai Davis followed up with a two-run double. A David Thompson single and a Tim Tebow double pushed the lead to 6-2 in the eighth inning.

The Mets bullpen needed all the runs they got, however, as Sean Burnett came in to finish the game out and nearly blew their lead. He allowed the Bats to load the bases. Arquimedes Caminero gave up two singles, allowing two of the runs Burnett put on base to score, but he coaxed out a double play ball to secure the win.
