Triple-A - Syracuse Mets (12-8)
Vladito and the rest of the Buffalo Bisons were too much for Syracuse to handle in a 5-4 loss. Both Cavan Biggio and Vlad Guerrero Jr. went deep in this one, the former against Mets’ starter Zach Lee in the fifth and the latter against Tim Peterson in the seventh. That run allowed by Peterson would decide the game, but the Mets did make things two singles and a double steal put the tying and winning runs in scoring position in the bottom of the ninth, but Travis Taijeron flew out to end it.
