Mets 4, Giants 1—Noah problem

Noah Syndergaard allowed the Giants only two hits en route to his first career complete game Sunday afternoon in San Francisco, leading the Mets to a crisp 4-1 victory to claim the series victory by the Bay.

Michael Conforto staked Syndergaard to an early 2-0 lead, following a Todd Frazier leadoff double with an absolute blast well out of the park, even in AT&T Park’s deep right-center field.

The Giants cut the lead in half in the bottom of the third when Alen Hanson tripled after Brandon Nimmo whiffed on a diving attempt, allowing the ball to roll to the wall.
