He’s back, Mets fans! So this seemed like the perfect time to take a look at what his impact was for the Amazins’ in 2017. We all know how lukewarm we were about Bruce when he originally came over at the trade deadline two years ago. But 2017 proved to be a bounce-back year for him offensively. So much so that the Cleveland Indians thought it would be a smart pick up at the trade deadline.
It was tough to see him go. Especially when he had just started coming into his own in Queens. But at least we got the chance to watch him punish the Yankees for a bit in the ALDS.
