Mets LHP Steven Matz departed Tuesday night's game against the Braves after the bottom of the third inning with an apparent finger issue.

The 27-year-old Matz had limited the Braves to just one hit in three innings before he was forced out of the game.

The only hit Matz allowed came in the third inning when Ozzie Albies singled. Matz walked two batters and struck out two while throwing 42 pitches.

RHP Paul Sewald entered the game to replace Matz.
