Lagares, Cabrera cut down tying run to end Mets 6-5 win over Nationals

1) Asdrubal Cabrera fired a perfect strike home to Travis d'Arnaud who applied tag on pinch-runner Edwin Jackson who tried to score from first on Daniel Murphy's single to right-center. Travis Taijeron overran the ball, but Juan Lagares picked it up and fired in to Cabrera who completed the relay home.

2) Amed Rosario hit a two-out solo home run in the eighth inning to give the Mets a 6-5 lead after the Nationals had rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh.
