Mets CF Juan Lagares suffered a sprained big toe when he slammed his foot into the outfield fence after a catch in the ninth inning of Wednesday afternoon's game.
X-Rays on the toe were negative, Mets manager Mickey Callaway said.
Lagares has been hot lately, hitting .389/.389/.500 in May.
Overall, Lagares -- who was expected to get more playing time now that Yoenis Cespedes is on the DL -- is hitting .339./375/.390 in 30 games (59 at-bats) this season.
