Pirates INF/OF Josh Harrison suggested Tuesday that in the wake of the team trading RHP Gerrit Cole and OF Andrew McCutchen, that he would like to be traded next if the team doesn't plan to contend in 2018.
The Mets, Yankees, and Blue Jays are among the teams who have been talking with the Pirates this offseason about a potential trade for Harrison.
"Now, I am the most tenured member of the Pirates, I want to win, I want to contend, I want to win championships in 2018, 2019 and beyond," Harrison said in a statement released to The Athletic.
