The team has announced via their game notes that Joey Lucchesi has been recalled to take the hill tonight against the Cardinals. To make room for Lucchesi on the active roster, Daniel Zamora has been optioned. Zamora was recalled by the Mets on Friday and did not appear in any games during his brief tenure on the roster.
Lucchesi has appeared in three games so far this season—two as a starter and one as a reliever—pitching to a 6.
