The Mets announced this afternoon that both Jacob deGrom and David Peterson have been cleared to take their turns in the team’s rotation this week, with Peterson slated to start on Tuesday night and deGrom slated to start on Wednesday night as the Mets continue their four-game series against the Marlins.
deGrom missed his start on Friday night because of a stiff neck, but he’s otherwise been off to a great start this year with a 2.45 ERA in 22.0 innings of work in four starts.
