It could be a month before David Wright plays third base for the Mets

It could be at least four weeks, and after another exam, before David Wright is able to stand at third base and throw a baseball across the diamond, people in St. Lucie predicted Thursday.

In other words, I'm not expecting Wright to get his first big-league at bat until at least May - and that's assuming he doesn't experience any other set backs along the way...

He can throw. However, what once was just mild irritation in his shoulder after neck surgery has turned in to radiating pain and weakness when he raises his hand and arm above his shoulder.
