How deGrom compares to unlucky ERA champs

Jacob deGrom's 2018 season has been incredible -- both for his performance and for the incongruity of that performance with the results he's had to show for it.

The Mets' ace, a National League Cy Young Award frontrunner, entered action Wednesday with a Major League-best 1.85 ERA as the season moves toward the stretch run. But his record was just 5-7. The Mets have lost 14 of his 22 starts.
