Mets RHP Matt Harvey showed signs of progress despite allowing three runs in his first bullpen appearance of his career on Sunday.
With Noah Syndergaard throwing just one inning, Harvey came out after him in their "shared" start. Harvey let up two homers in his four-inning outing, yet he did like what he felt on the mound.
"Obviously I'm not happy about the two home runs -- coming in after Noah and giving the lead back, it's not ideal -- but I threw a lot of balls that I felt a lot better throwing.
