Harvey has his slider back

Matt Harvey tossed four shutout innings with 50 pitches in an 11-0 win over the Marlins on Sunday.

"I'm pretty happy with where things are," Harvey said after the start.

In seven innings of work this spring, Harvey is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA and five strikeouts.

"It's always about getting better command of everything," manager Terry Collins said after the game. "He's doing what he's supposed to be doing, moving the ball around, using his fastball, good changeups today. He's right on pace."

It's just spring, but he looks terrific. According to the radar gun, Harvey's fastball was hitting 97-98 mph.
