Get rid of Flores? No way

A few weeks ago, when Jacob deGrom was pitching against the Nats at Citi Field, Wilmer Flores made an error that opened the floodgates on a Nationals rout.

It didn't matter that it was deGrom himself who folded after the error, the takeaway was that Flores stunk, could never play shortstop and the Mets needed to do whatever it takes to get rid of him and get a real shortstop.

Flash forward to Monday afternoon, and Flores saves the Mets' bacon with a three-run homer that sparks a much-needed 6-3 win. SNY flashes a graphic that he leads all big-league shortstops in home runs.
