Francisco Lindor told the media before this afternoon’s game that he has a broken right pinky toe and is day-to-day. He told reporters that he hopes to avoid an IL stint and intends to play through it. He appeared to suffer the injury after being hit in the foot by a pitch in last night’s game, but he says he hurt it sliding. He remained in the game despite being in obvious discomfort and he confirmed that he was playing through “a lot” of pain. He is still in a significant amount of pain this afternoon and is walking with a limp.
