Former Met Billy Wagner has no regrets over infamous '06 NLCS Game 7

Billy Wagner was the Mets' closer during the 2006 season that concluded with a Game 7 loss to the Cardinals 3-1.

The game was tied 1-1 heading to the ninth and Wagner was left in the bullpen. Aaron Heilman was in and gave up a two-run home run to Yadier Molina. Wagner doesn't have any regrets about not being put in the game.

"I'll be honest with you, at that time the guy that was throwing the ball the best for us was Heilman," Wagner said in an interview with Mathew Brownstein of MetsMerized Online.
