NEW YORK -- Barring the emergence of an 11th-hour candidate, the Mets have wrapped up their first round of general manager interviews, a source said Friday, with plans to commence the second round early next week. No fewer than six candidates have already interviewed: Chaim Bloom, Gary LaRocque, Dave Littlefield, Doug Melvin, Kim Ng and De Jon Watson.
