After Noah Syndergaard struck out 10 batters in the Mets' 9-4 Opening Day win against the Cardinals, the pitcher quickly remembered a bet he made with a fan on Twitter.
In spring training, a fan told Syndergaard he'd dye his hair blonde if Thor reached double-digit strikeouts on Opening Day. Within a few hours of the Mets' game going final, Syndergaard quickly took to Twitter to remind that fan of their bet.
The fan stuck to his word and dyed his hair blonde. He tweeted a picture to prove it.
